Text Box: Promoting Green Pavements
&
Investing in Clean Water

Pervious Concrete is a non-proprietary material. As a consequence, it is not promoted in trade-publications or other media services as are many proprietary products.

This Photograph was taken on Opening-Day at the newly retrofitted Prime Outlets Mall in Williamsburg, VA. This is an example of how Developers can take advantage of media attention focused on Green Building Systems.

In this demonstration, a water-truck was used to empty out a large volume of water to run across a conventional concrete pavement onto a section of pervious concrete pavement. The water disappeared as soon as it reached the pervious concrete. This was an effective demonstration in showing how Green Pavements are useful in allowing rainwater to recharge our Aquifers Naturally.

PCCS offers a service to coordinate promotional programs for Developers, Environmentalist, Cement/Concrete Interest Groups or Government Groups. The programs can be presented inside or outside.
